Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.
What Your Background Should Look Like
ROLE OBJECTIVE
- Collaborate with Market-facing Product Manager to introduce new products to market
- Utilize TE systems & processes to achieve launch completeness
- Coordinate & prioritizes cross-functional team activities
- Relentlessly drive new product activities to completion
- Provide track record of bringing products to market
- Demonstrate strong leadership with global teams
- Build on Best Practices to reduce time to market
- Improve efficiency with project execution
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage Rapid NPI project activities
- Work closely with PM / ENG team to initiate projects
- Set priorities and direction for multiple assigned projects
- Report on project status, prioritization, and potential risks
- Use TE systems to verify product & launch completeness
- Coordinate completion of activities with cross-functional team
- Work closely with PM / Sales / Marketing teams to launch products
- Coordinate completion of project requirements / timing / cost / quality
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- 4+ years experience in project management
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous managerial experience preferred
- Knowledge in product development processes
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Experience with PPM software (Jira preferred)
- PMI Certification a plus
