About the role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing solid liaisons with external and internal customers through innovative engagement activities and contribute to the assigned brand's overall budget achievement.

Together with other pioneer team members, the incumbent will support the setting up of the business unit for success. The incumbent will have a curious mindset and challenge ideas to build a long-term sustainable plan within a work culture that takes pride in ownership, accountability, and a sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities

Market Strategy

  • Develop innovative marketing strategies through research and identifying market growth opportunities and strategic business planning, market analysis, tactical sales support & product management
  • Formulate, direct, and coordinate cost-effective marketing activities and policies to promote a line of products to both healthcare professionals and, where appropriate, patients
  • Collaborate with the commercial team by providing marketing inputs and preparation of the annual budget for marketing communication expenses for the assigned product segment
  • Collate and provide feedback for the development of marketing policy, recommended product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes
  • Interface with medical, regulatory, legal, communication, and sales team to maximize market opportunities

Market Development

  • Execute product launches, create or enhance sales tools, develop and execute tactical programs and establish distinctive competitive positioning for product line
  • Execute the brand plan within the marketing mix (Medical Education / Conferences, Public Relations, Patient Awareness Programs, etc.)
  • Make recommendation of 2-3 molecules to be launched every year
  • Recommend knowledge and skills development for team members to the Training Department and ensure it is organized in collaboration with the department
  • Complete Sets of Information (SOI) files for products to be launched with Advertising, Sponsorships, & Promotion (ASP) file

Stakeholder Management

  • Identify new opportunities and cultivate professional relationships with national groups, key opinion leaders and critical product champion to enhance product promotion further
  • Regular field visits to maintain relationships with customers, KOLs, and industry bodies relevant to the performance of the Business Unit

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree holder (healthcare administration, life sciences, business & marketing related major preferred). An MBA would be considered a vital asset.
  • 8 years related experience from Pharma, MNCs, and/or Healthcare industries.
  • Proficient in market research, pricing and reimbursement, customer advocacy development is advantageous
  • Possess experience in handling a variety of portfolios, especially specialty franchise and government Blue Book will be advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong relationship with key opinion leaders/healthcare practitioners (HCPs) in the field.
  • Possess strong presentation, planning, organization and analytical skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership, commitment and dedication, with sense of urgency to get things done and results-driven attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong team player, adaptable and versatile with the ability to work with all levels of people across all functions and different cultures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in using Sales CRM systems and tools such as SalesForce.com, Veeva, IQVIA, PowerBI, Tableau etc. is an advantage
