Business Planning: Establish delivery solutions and systems based on product manufacturing engineering to support the entire supply chain, including manufacturing, warehousing, delivery, reconfiguration, maintenance, and quality assurance.
Manufacturing Technology & Management:
Strengthen investment in manufacturing technologies for platform-based and AI products.
Implement a dual-track technical roadmap: Mass Production of the current generation + Pre-research for the next generation.
Lead the strategic transition from air-cooling to liquid-cooling manufacturing for high-power products.
Build a server manufacturing engineering capability system; drive iterations and change management in components, processes, equipment, testing, and maintenance.
Monitor vendor execution, collaborate to resolve delivery anomalies, and enhance manufacturing quality and efficiency through engineering technology.
New Product Introduction (NPI):
Build supply chain management throughout the product lifecycle and lead factory NPI for mass production.
Collaborate with R&D on DFx (Design for Manufacturability/Maintenance) during the design phase of self-developed products and components.
Ensure manufacturing technology implementation and quality management during the early ramp-up stages.
Optimize vendor manufacturing capabilities and environments to improve NPI efficiency and quality.
Mass Production Scaling & Replication:
Lead the 1 to 100 replication process for mass-produced standard products.
Innovate the rapid replication workflow to reduce the cycle time from the industry standard of 6 months to 3 months.
Establish a risk management system for the replication process (from project initiation to exit).
Optimize the process framework using project management methodologies based on PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and SLM (Service Lifecycle Management).
Production & Delivery Quality:
Construct a quality management system for servers and key components and strengthen digital capability building.
Supervise and enhance the quality of component/system vendors across the full process (IQC, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and rack-level delivery).
Handle manufacturing anomalies and ensure delivery security across all domains.
Capacity Planning & Capability Building:
Identify capacity bottlenecks and risks based on bidding and delivery requirements.
Optimize product delivery models and provide global capacity optimization plans.
Drive vendor facility construction, validation, and mass delivery to achieve global supply deployment capabilities.
Reconfiguration Delivery: Build and optimize the reconfiguration system. Enhance manufacturing technology and quality for IDC, CDN, and AI reconfiguration to improve resource utilization and achieve cost reduction and efficiency gains.
Self-Maintenance System:
Develop and optimize the self-maintenance system.
Utilize manufacturing and repair technologies to enhance capabilities in spare parts disassembly, NTF (No Trouble Found) management, component repair, and on-site maintenance.
Strengthen foundational capabilities for risk prevention and value creation.
Supplier Management:
Develop a comprehensive vendor performance evaluation mechanism.
Improve vendor supply chain performance through the MOR mechanism.
Design and execute MOR incentive/penalty systems and increase the influence of MOR performance in the bidding process to create a virtuous cycle between operations, procurement, and R&D.
