About the Role
. To assist in the product development, product enhancements, implementation and product campaign ensure timely and efficient launch of new product, product enhancements or product campaigns.
. To work in Agile setup with the objective to reduce time to develop new products or product enhancements across design-build-test-launch cycle.
- Ensure timely and efficient launch of new products, product enhancements and product campaigns within the set timeline by proper preparation and documentation of gate papers, product / campaign specification, policy contract, marketing materials, sales illustration, training materials and meeting minutes on approvals. This include ensuring UAT for contract and Sales Quotation System (SQS) is properly sign-off within the set timeline, preparation of launching materials and promotional activities, conduct briefing to customer support staff/trainers/agents and product focus group.
- Provide timely and accurate delivery of report/special project which include but not limited to the monthly post launch analysis for Product Development Committee Meeting, competitor and product comparison analysis and other necessary reports and special projects as and when assigned.
- Ensure compliance of new guidelines issued by Bank Negara Malaysia, LIAM or other regulators relating to products.
- To conduct market research, data analysis, product competitiveness study and collect customer and distributor feedback by proper preparation of presentation materials, coordinate meeting/discussion with customer and distributor in soliciting feedback or comment.
- To provide sales support and handle enquiries from distribution channels in matters related to products.
- To perform other responsibilities and duties periodically or involve in ad hoc initiatives/special project assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other regulatory/compliance requirements.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Education - Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or Islamic Finance.
- Experience - Preferably with minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience in the insurance or Takaful industry, combination of product development, product marketing, pricing or actuarial.
- Other skills - Possesses strong leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Confident, proactive, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders and projects independently.
