Job Description PMC(Product Material Control)& Procurement Specialist in JB Factory:
- Inventory Management:
- Responsible for the delivery and satisfaction of all supply requirements, include UIH system/ Components/spare parts and other supply requirements;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using ERP/inventory management systems. (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Develop a master demand plan based on factors such as capacity, risk, and volatility, and align it with the production department.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock to meet production demands.

- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to verify accuracy.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues.
- Material Planning and Scheduling:
- Participate in the BU product CR switching plan and output relevant CR resolution opinions from the material and production scheduling level. Achieve high accuracy in forecast affected material control and follow-up of relevant engineering changes and this will reduce the waste of switching material inventory.
- Ensure timely release of purchase orders and delivery schedules.
- Monitor material availability and identify potential shortages or delays.
- Communicate material status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Procurement &Supplier Management:
- Execute end-to-end procurement process: requirement confirmation, supplier negotiation, contract signing, order follow-up, and payment reconciliation.
- Develop and evaluate suppliers, optimize procurement costs, lead annual cost reduction plans and supplier performance reviews and identify potential risks.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Negotiate and secure favorable terms with suppliers.
- Production Support:
- Provide materials to production teams as per production schedules and requirements.
- Support production in resolving material-related issues or problems.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of material movements, inventory transactions, and supplier performance.
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, material costs, and supplier performance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of material control policies and procedures.
