About the role

Reporting directly to the Product Lead, the Product Merchandiser serves as the central hub of our product lifecycle. In this role, you will transform high-level brand strategies into high-impact SKU frameworks and actionable design briefs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify synergies and successfully roll out our global product strategy.

Job Responsibilities

1. Line Plan & Assortment Architecture: Bridge the gap between strategy and execution through the definition of high-impact SKU frameworks and directional design briefs.

  • Translate the strategic Product roadmap into a comprehensive Line Plan. Define the technical SKU breadth and depth required to fulfill the strategic guidelines.
  • Convert the product direction into actionable briefs for the Design and Development teams, ensuring aesthetic goals stay within functional and financial boundaries.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify missing products where the brand has a right to win.
  • Synthesize sell-through reports and market trends into clear directional briefs that guide the creation of a cohesive, high-performing SKU assortment.

2. Tactical Analytics & Hindsight: Drive the seasonal post-mortem Analysis by synthesizing SKU-level performance and market feedback into actionable reports.

  • Conduct rigorous SKU-level analysis. Go beyond the numbers to explain the why behind product performance to the cross-functional partners.
  • Consolidate product performance and feedback into a clear report that influences strategy for the following season and conduct monthly performance review at collection level and key product initiatives level.
  • Deliver a pricing analysis, ensuring the pricing strategy is consistent across all product tiers and markets.
  • Translate performance insights into reactive adjustments and shape future collections based on live market data.

3. Go-to-Market Execution & Flow: Architect the seasonal flow plan, synchronizing with Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure product launches achieve maximum strategic impact through precise timing and placement.

  • Deliver a detailed a flow plan to ensure product launches occur exactly when and where the strategy requires.
  • Define an accurate lifecycle strategy for legacy SKUs and categories to ensure a clean transition between seasonal drops and maintain optimal inventory health.

4. Cross-Functional Integration - work closely with product brand and planning to ensure timely launches and category readiness.

  • Act as the central hub between Design, Brand, and Planning to streamline the product lifecycle, translating creative concepts into commercially viable assortments.
  • Present the seasonal assortment plan to cross-functional partners, aligning stakeholders on key product stories, volume drivers, and strategic priorities.

What you need to have:

  • 7+ years of experience with a proven track record in Merchandising within the consumer goods, lifestyle, or retail sectors.
  • Extensive expertise in assortment planning and/or category management.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate high-level concepts into detailed, commercially successful product assortments.
  • Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in converting data, sell-through reports, and historical metrics into a concrete, actionable SKU plan.
  • Robust commercial acumen, with a proven ability to balance brand identity and aesthetic vision with sales performance targets.
  • High product sensitivity and an intuitive understanding of market trends, materials, and consumer preferences.
