We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven professional who can identify and evaluate new product opportunities, manage product portfolios, lead cross-functional initiatives, and build strong partnerships to support business growth and long-term portfolio success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute portfolio strategies to support business growth and optimize product lifecycle performance.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new product opportunities based on market potential, competitive landscape, and business objectives.
- Conduct market, financial, and commercial assessments to support product selection and investment decisions.
- Lead cross-functional teams in managing new product development, registration, launch, and commercialization activities.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend product enhancement, expansion, rationalization, or discontinuation strategies.
- Support product licensing, business development, due diligence, and partnership evaluation activities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, licensors, suppliers, and contract manufacturing organizations.
- Prepare business cases, portfolio reviews, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for management.
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, risks, and priorities to ensure successful delivery of portfolio objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in portfolio management, product management, business development, regulatory affairs, R&D, or related pharmaceutical functions.
- Strong experience in pharmaceutical portfolio management and product lifecycle management.
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical product development, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
- Ability to evaluate market opportunities, business potential, profitability, and commercial viability.
- Experience in product licensing, due diligence, partnership management, or business development is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Experience in generic pharmaceuticals, contract manufacturing, technology transfer, licensing, or ASEAN/EU product registrations will be an added advantage.
