What Youll Do
- Review and assess information of raw material, formulation, package and finish product for regulatory compliance in SEA region (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam).
- Prepare submissions for product registrations/notifications, license/permit applications, and regulatory responses in accordance with local and regional requirements.
- Support the documentation and archiving of compliance information.
- Delivering safe products to customers by providing accurate Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and label in English and in local language for SEA region.
- Oversee the maintenance of the products Safety Data Sheet and monitoring in SAP database.
- Ensure local, regional and international regulatory compliance of company products.
- Provide product safety declaration in 100% compliance with regulations and customers specific requirements.
- Support product safety and/or regulatory projects.
- Support issue and crisis management with creative yet regulatory-compliant solutions.
- Support in monitoring chemical/product regulatory developments in SEA region
- Support to establish relationship with industry associations and government authorities for networking and regulatory advocacy on behalf of Henkel in SEA region.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor/Master in Science or Engineering i.e. Chemistry, Material, Polymer, Environment.
- Possess at least 2 - 3 years of work experience, with at least 1 2 years relevant experience in chemicals/product regulatory affairs.
- Possess strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English. Knowledge of 1 or more SEA language is a plus.
- Knowledge of best practices and trends in chemicals/product regulatory management.
- Able to manage multiple competing and/or shifting business priorities.
- Ability to adapt in fast paced environment and deliver result within expected deadlines.
- Flexible and able to multi-task between routine job and projects, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong willingness to try new ways and continuously seek for improvement.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
