Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Product Specialist role based in Penang, Malaysia. The Product Specialist will support healthcare customers by providing in-depth product knowledge, demonstrations, and clinical application support for medical equipment and devices.
Daily responsibilities include engaging with hospital staff, addressing product inquiries, and coordinating with the sales team to drive product adoption and meet sales targets.

The role involves monitoring market trends, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with internal teams to refine product positioning and training materials. The Product Specialist will also conduct product training sessions, participate in promotional activities, and ensure all activities comply with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong product specialist expertise, including familiarity with medical devices and hospital environments.
  • Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret market data, assess customer needs, and support evidence-based recommendations.
  • Candidates should possess communication skills to explain complex technical information clearly and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess customer service skills to build long-term relationships, respond to inquiries professionally, and support post-sales service needs.
  • Candidates should possess sales skills to identify opportunities, support sales presentations, and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
  • Relevant academic background in biomedical engineering, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in medical device sales, clinical support, or hospital product roles is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, work in hospital settings, and adapt to a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in English and local languages, with strong presentation and documentation skills.
