Role Description The Product Specialist – Medical Device is a full-time, on-site role based in Bandar Baru Bangi. This role involves providing product expertise for medical devices, including demonstrating features and benefits to healthcare professionals and stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting product presentations, supporting sales activities, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring proper device usage and application. The Product Specialist will collaborate with the sales team, gather market feedback, and assist in developing product positioning and training materials. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality customer service.
Qualifications
  • Strong product specialist capabilities, including in-depth understanding of medical devices and the ability to translate technical features into user benefits.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills for interpreting market data, customer feedback, and product performance to support decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills for presenting to healthcare professionals, preparing clear documentation, and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Customer service skills to provide responsive support, build long-term relationships, and manage post-sales queries professionally.
  • Sales abilities to support lead generation, product demonstrations, and closing opportunities in alignment with company objectives.
  • Relevant academic background in biomedical engineering, medical sciences, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with familiarity in local regulatory requirements, is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bandar Baru Bangi, travel to customer locations when required, and manage time independently.
