Job Description

We are partnering with a global manufacturer specializing in medical and protective products, serving customers across healthcare, industrial, and consumer markets worldwide. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Production & Compounding Engineer to optimize production processes, improve product quality, and support efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations to achieve output, quality, efficiency, and cost targets.
  • Monitor production processes, identify issues, and implement timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Drive process improvement and innovation initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, and improve product quality.
  • Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to optimize raw material and chemical usage while maintaining product performance.
  • Plan and manage daily compounding activities based on production requirements and product specifications.
  • Monitor latex and chemical consumption, ensuring efficient usage and sufficient supply to production lines.
  • Develop and improve product formulations to enhance quality and support cost optimization.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel on production processes, chemical handling, and operational best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and environmental standards throughout the production area.
  • Monitor key production parameters, analyze deviations, and work with the production team to implement effective corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in production engineering, process improvement, or compounding within a manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of raw material or chemical formulation is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities with the capability to work across multiple departments.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and driven to improve operational performance.
