Role: Production Analytics Supervisor
Location: Kajang, Selangor
Job Purpose
To supervise daily production operations across assigned lines and plants, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing. The role is responsible for driving operational performance, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional coordination to achieve production targets and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
A. Production & Operations Support
- Assist Production Manager in tracking critical tasks, action items, and operational follow-ups.
- Support coordination of improvement projects, kaizen activities, and operational initiatives.
- Assist in preparation and consolidation of production data and reports.
B. Digital Manufacturing & Performance Monitoring
- Drive digitalization initiatives including eBR, OEE tracking, and system enhancements.
- Lead production data analysis to identify trends, losses, and improvement opportunities across lines and plants.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor production dashboards (e.g. OEE, output, downtime, rejection, efficiency, utilities).
- Support digitalization and system improvement initiatives by dashboard reporting and performance analysis.
C. Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization
- Drive Kaizen initiatives and productivity improvement projects (e.g. batch upscale, line speed improvement, automation).
- Lead implementation of improvement projects and track savings/impact.
- Support factory initiatives for process optimization and savings.
D. Documentation & System Transactions
- Maintain, update, and control production documents including SOPs, WIs, forms, and records.
- Support system transactions in SAP, including production confirmations and material movements.
- Ensure proper filing, traceability, accuracy of production documentation and audit readiness at all times.
E. Maintenance, Calibration & Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate calibration schedules and follow up on execution .
- Support preventive maintenance planning and tracking.
- Monitor consumables and basic spare parts inventory to prevent operational disruptions.
F. Safety, 5S & Compliance Support
- Support implementation and follow-up of factory safety programs.
- Assist in 5S activities, audits, and shop-floor housekeeping initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and internal standards.
- Drive reduction in rework and quality issue.
G. General Support
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, Engineering, Planning, and Warehouse.
- Support audits, inspections, and management reviews when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
Key Requirements, Experience & Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related discipline.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing operations and documentation control.
- Familiarity with SAP or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
- Good coordination, organizational, and communication skills.
- Able to work in a factory environment and support shop-floor activities.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow procedures accurately.
Working Conditions
Factory-based role with regular shop-floor exposure. May be required to support overtime or weekend activities during production needs.
