Roles and Responsibilities 

Managed all aspects of the production line and supervised employees 

Supervised production line to ensure production orders were completed on timely basis 

Coordinated with management and employees toward production line improvements 

Kept careful inventories of parts 

To prepare monthly report on production efficiency productivity, facility, work and process against standard

To initiate problem solving and troubleshooting processes and reduce process related problem and delay 

Continuously plan to improve work environment methods effectiveness and resource utilization and critically review and monitor operation results  

Prepares and implements production schedules to ensure that the required quantity and quality are completed within the scheduled time 

Ensures that the raw materials are available to suit his production planning

Ensures that all production outputs are produced in accordance with quality control specifications 

manpower planning for his department 

Advises and helps his team members in line with efficiency improvement and wastage reduction programs 

Ensures that all his production machines are maintained according to the maintenance schedule

Ensures that his department meets the safety requirements and maintains good housekeeping 

To supervise and lead the production teams to meet production targets, improve safety, quality, yield, efficiency, cost, delivery and discipline of work force 

Monitor line productivity/ efficiency and to meet schedules on time 

To ensure disciplines of line operators, monitor absenteeism and to provide training to operators 

To monitor product quality and carry out improvement activities 

To monitor line WIP and scrap closely 

Accomplish task assigned by superior 

Ensuring compliance with safety, Health and Standard Operating Procedures set by the company 

Organizing training and education for production workers (OJT) 

Requirements 

Minimum of 5-8 years supervisor relevant experience in precision engineering related to products 

Good machine/ tool trouble-shooting, analytical and problem-solving skills 

Good understanding and interpretation of technical drawings 

Good management skills

Experienced and able to use Mastercam 

Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings 

Ability to edit program codes
