Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The Production Engineer will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring product quality, and improving efficiency in the manufacturing operations. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor production workflows and identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and R&D to ensure smooth production operations.
- Analyze production data and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in the design, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or processes.
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Train production staff on new processes, equipment, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering.
- Proven experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
