Production Engineer General Assembly

Job Summary

Stellantis Malaysia is looking for a Production Engineer – General Assembly to support and optimize our vehicle assembly operations at the Gurun Plant. You will play a key role in ensuring production targets are achieved while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily General Assembly production operations.
• Monitor and improve production performance and KPIs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate engineering changes and new model introductions.
• Improve line balancing and manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics and Engineering teams.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and manufacturing standards.
• Provide technical support and coaching to production personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Automotive Engineering.
• 3 - 5 years experience in automotive manufacturing or production engineering.
• Experience in General Assembly operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement.
