Collaborating with product designers and other engineers
Strategizing the development process, including raw materials and machinery
Monitoring production and reporting progress
Addressing any bottle necks or issues within production
Estimating the cost of production
Estimating cost of materials needed to complete production
Collaborating with executive-level management to align expectations and objectives
Completing progress reports
Oversee installation of machinery and equipment
Plan and schedule regular maintenance
Contribute to continuous improvement activities
Ensure workshop is clean, tidy and well organized
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering is a plus
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool design
Knowledge in ISO and quality processes is a plus
At least 2 years working experience and proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Solid-works or Inventor
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as training is provided
Able to converse fluently in English. Moreover, proficiency in Mandarin (spoken & written) is required for this role, as it involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking clients / stakeholders
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
