The Production Engineer is responsible for coordinating daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets in volume, quality, and timeliness are met efficiently. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives, identifies process bottlenecks, and implements corrective actions to enhance productivity. The engineer works closely with production teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while maintaining smooth workflow on the shopfloor.
Together with the team, you will:
- Ensure workplace safety compliance by identifying on-the-job hazards, implementing risk control measures, and maintaining safe operating practices for processes, machines, and equipment.
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain required product quality standards.
- Analyze product and process quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with the Quality team to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by investigating production issues, identifying best practices, and implementing Kaizen and Poka-Yoke solutions to enhance process reliability and efficiency.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert by providing guidance on product specifications, process optimization, preventive maintenance strategies, and cost analysis.
- Manage and support engineering projects and new product introductions (NPI) including machine efficiency improvements, new equipment installation, R&D trials, feasibility assessments, and smooth transition to mass production.

- You have a Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferable Mechanical Engineering background.
