Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Line Start-up & Output Control
a.Execute daily/per-shift line start-up preparations (material verification, tooling checks, equipment startup, first-article inspection), monitor on-time start-up, track achievement rates, and address anomalies;
b.Set shift output targets, follow production takt time, ensure throughput and timeliness, analyze capacity gaps, and drive closed-loop improvements;
c.Review daily production reports and data logs, ensure accuracy, and generate standardized reports for capacity review and planning adjustments.
2. Rework Management
a. Oversee classification, labeling, and record-keeping of non-conforming products (process, assembly, appearance, functional defects); assign rework tasks based on defect type and operator skill levels;
b. Supervise rework operations to ensure compliance with SOP and quality standards, preventing secondary defects and unauthorized practices;
c. Consolidate rework data, conduct shift-level review trainings, and drive improvements on recurring issues.
3. Order Delivery Assurance
a. Monitor the entire process from production, inspection, to warehousing, ensuring finished goods are stored and shipped on time;
b. Rapidly coordinate resources to resolve delivery disruptions caused by capacity shortfalls, quality issues, material shortages, or staffing gaps, and escalate progress promptly.
Qualifications:
1. Associate degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related fields;
2. 3+ years of hands-on production management experience in automotive manufacturing; experience leading local teams is a plus;
3. Solid knowledge of production line processes, takt-time control, rework workflows, and end-to-end delivery management;
4. Strong data analysis skills – able to independently review production/rework/delivery data and identify bottlenecks;
5. Basic English reading/writing skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (daily/weekly reports, performance reviews).
