Job Overview
The Manager P1 Production (HOD) is responsible for overseeing CSYM's Shearing, Laser Cutting, Laser Tube, and Punching processes.
This role drives the efficient utilization of automated systems and Industry 4.0 solutions, ensuring production meets quality, efficiency, and delivery goals.
The Manager- P1 Production (HOD) collaborates with PPC and Purchasing to maintain material flow and job order alignment, achieving weekly production targets while optimizing workforce and technology integration.
AUTHORITIES
Decision-Making Authority
Approves adjustment to schedules, resource allocation, and process improvements within P1.
System And Automation Oversight
Approves new initiatives in automation and integration, especially within laser cutting and punching.
Team Development
Responsible for the development and performance management of a multidisciplinary team including engineers, CAM programmers, supervisors and line leaders.
Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Performance Development: Set performance targets, provide regular feedback, and identify development opportunities aligned with company goals.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Actively work with PPC, Purchasing, and Quality teams to synchronize schedule, materials and resources requirements.
Production Optimization: Oversee shearing, laser cutting, laser tube and punching processes to meet production targets, improve workflow and drive quality.
Automation and System Integration: Spearhead automation efforts, focusing on the integration of industry 4.0 solutions, especially in laser and punching systems.
Job Order Coordination: Serve as the main contact for coordinating job orders and ensuring materials and resources align with production schedules.
Process and Performance Analysis: Utilize data to monitor efficiency, identify process improvements and address performance issue proactively.
Quality Assurance: Ensure processes and outputs meet quality standards, addressing any variances proactively.
Job Requirement
- Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree, Master's Degree or equivalent in All Engineering Field
- Preferably at least 4 years of related working experience.
- Preferably Manager specializing in Manufacturing / Production or equivalent.
- Good communication skills in English, Malay, Mandarin language for both spoken and written
