Role Description

Reporting directly to the Operation Manager.

Planning, organizing, and controlling daily production activities to meet output and delivery targets.

Developing and executing production schedules aligned with sales forecasts and customer demand.

Monitoring and improving production KPIs including OEE, productivity, scrap rate, rejection rate, and on-time delivery.

Ensuring all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Optimizing manpower planning, machine utilization, and material usage.

Leading and supervising production supervisors, leaders, material handlers, data entry, and production operators.

Implementing lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborating closely with QA, safety, maintenance, warehouse, and sales departments for smooth operations.

Controlling manufacturing costs and improving labor efficiency.

Ensuring production WIP and inventory levels are optimal.

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Preparing production performance reports for management.

Adhering to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and RBA standards.

Authority to stop production in case of product quality or process problems.

Overviewing and approving production department activities, documentation, and records.

Making decisions during emergency situations.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering preferred.

Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.

Minimum 8 years working experience, with at least 3 years in a Managerial Position.

Strong knowledge in Production Planning, Process Improvement, and Cost Control.

Excellent leadership, supervisory, and managerial skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Team player, fast learner, reliable, self-motivated, with good communication skills.

Experience managing foreign contract workers is advantageous.

Experience in a multinational manufacturing company is advantageous.

Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, or Infor systems is advantageous.
