Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Production Manager, you plan and control manufacturing and warehouse processes so that products are delivered on time and within budget. Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives while building high-performance production teams. Own end-to-end assembly processes, resource optimization, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Overlook production planning, production assembly and warehouse functions.
  • Responsible for Productivity, Efficiency, Inventory and on time delivery metrics.
  • Responsible for headcount budgeting and resources capacity planning.
  • Responsible for the selection and training of new operators.
  • Ensures plant performance is aligned with company goals and targets.
  • Works collaboratively to review and facilitate the launch of new products into production.
  • Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
  • Participate and sponsor continuous improvement projects in production and warehouse.
  • Supervise and motivate team.

Skills You Bring:

  • B.S. or M.S. Degree in Engineering, with related experience in production management.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate data and make operational decisions.
  • Prior knowledge in LEAN manufacturing processes.
  • Strong planning, organization, and communication skills.
  • The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems.
  • The capacity to grasp complex concepts easily.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team and managers.
  • The ability to work under pressure and multitask.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines.
  • A results-driven approach to work.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings/blueprints, specifications, bill of materials and CAD files.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems.
  • The ability to work in a logical, systematic manner
