About the Role
We are a leading company in the sheet metal manufacturing industry, supporting data centre solutions. As a Production Manager, you will report directly to the Production Plant Manager and oversee daily operations such as Turret Punching, Bending, Welding, and Assembly. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and evaluate the entire production process.
- Organize workflows to meet specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Supervise and assess production personnel (direct, indirect workers & supervisors).
- Monitor production, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
- Plan and allocate resources (workforce, raw materials, equipment).
- Oversee maintenance schedules and coordinate procurement for new equipment.
- Enforce health & safety compliance to ensure zero accidents.
- Contribute to production planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Lead quality assessments to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in production management (sheet metal industry preferred).
- Solid knowledge of production management, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Skilled in MS Office (Excel) and ERP software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bill of materials (BOM).
- Experience in performance evaluation, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
- Mechanical design skills are an added advantage.
