Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Produce products with consistent high quality, meeting production standards.
• Assembles and/or installs various electrical or electronic components, plastics housingsand cables.
• Soldering surface mount and through-hole components.
• Operate and maintain production machinery, ensuring smooth operation and minimaldowntime.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to themanufacturing engineering team.
• Perform in-line inspections to identify and address quality defects during production.
• Maintain workshop 6S standards and perform equipment maintenance as needed.
• Accurately document production activities and maintain logs for traceability.
• Comply with and support the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies andinitiatives.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity andproduct quality.

Requirements

• Accurate and methodical approach to tasks, ensuring precision in the productionprocess.
• Proficient in soldering techniques and other hands-on manufacturing tools such astweezers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers.
• Problem-solving skills to address production and equipment issues.
• Adaptability to handle varied tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on mentality with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
