Production Section Head

Job Description

. Oversee all functions of the Production Operation, ensuring alignment with established policies and procedures to maintain smooth, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes.

. Direct and administer daily production activity to ensure meeting all deliveries schedule.

. Collaborate with supporting departments or initiate actions to drive projects that improve product performance, quality, cost, and delivery.

. Plan, implement, and monitor production requirements to ensure objectives and targets are achieved.

. Ensure operators meet designated Units Per Hour (UPH) and optimize material utilization.

. Drive continuous improvement efforts to achieve defined KPI targets.

. Monitor and control overtime hours and overall operational costs.

. Determine competence requirements for personnel handling chemicals, scheduled waste, or tasks with potential environmental impact.

. Identify training needs and develop operator competencies to meet KPIs through clear communication, planning, monitoring, and evaluation of performance.

. Resolve issues and disputes within the production area promptly and effectively.

. Enforce 5S practices across all work areas to ensure workplace organization and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with RBA and Supplier Code of Conduct requirements.

. Other responsibilities are subject to the arrangement of the immediate superior/management.

Qualifications & Skills

. Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.

. At least 5 years working experience in the manufacturing field.

. Knowledge in Microsoft Office.

. Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels.

. Computer literate.

. Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 and IATF 16949.
