Headline: Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

The Opportunity:
We are partnering with a leading, large-scale manufacturing organization to find a dynamic Production Supervisor.
This role offers ownership of daily production operations, team leadership, and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Candidates with experience in high-volume environments strongly preferred -- high tech, energy, electronics, automotive, or semiconductors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials according to production plans to achieve quality and quantity targets.
- Manage daily shopfloor operations including production progress, manpower scheduling, work discipline, and 5S.
- Drive workplace safety control and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Optimize and continuously improve internal processes, systems, and working standards.
- Lead root cause analysis for production issues and implement both corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote and follow up on improvement actions to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
- Organise daily team communication, training, and coaching to build skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Foster a positive team culture and support individual team member development.
- Complete other tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree holder in any field, or equivalent relevant production management experience.
- Minimum 3 years of production management experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
- Experience in high tech, energy, electronics, automotive, semiconductor, or other high-volume manufacturing industries (added advantage).
- Proven background in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, 5S, or shopfloor efficiency projects (preferred).
- Strong teamwork, communication, coordination, and planning abilities.
- Good organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Self-driven, responsible, hands-on, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Bilingual - Malay & Chinese (preferred) to enhance local communication
- Willingness and flexbility to work shifts, overtime (OT) and weekends.
