Pekan Nanas, Johor.Team Leadership: Supervise and support a team of production workers, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Production Oversight: Monitor and manage production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any production issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate production records, prepare reports on performance metrics, and communicate any issues or updates to management.Coordination:
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations and address any cross-functional needs. Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.- Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.
Minimum of 2 or 3 years of experience in a production supervisory or management role within a manufacturing, automotive, electronics.
- Proven track record of successfully managing production teams and improving production processes.
In-depth knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment.- Proficiency in using production management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
Strong understanding of quality control standards and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of production workers.
Experience in scheduling, training, and evaluating team performance.- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with team members, management, and other departments.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate production records and reports.
Proficiency in analyzing production data and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing process enhancements.
Thorough understanding of safety regulations and practices.- Proven experience in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Willingness to work varying shifts or overtime as needed to meet production demands.
