About The Job
This role requires a Production Supervisor, to oversee the daily operations of the injection molding line, ensuring all production, quality, and delivery goals are achieved.
key responsibilities
- Production and Team Leadership: Oversee daily production operations to ensure targets are met. Lead, coach, and develop a team of technicians. Manage shift planning, attendance, and task delegation.
- Quality and Process Management: Inspect products for quality and troubleshoot molding defects. Enforce safety and quality standards. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce defects and optimize production cycles.
- Machine and Tooling Management: Operate molding machines and adjust peripheral equipment. Coordinate with maintenance for mold changeovers and report equipment issues promptly.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain daily production records, defect logs, and downtime reports. Support audit and documentation requirements.
Requirements
- Education: A Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in injection molding production, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role. At least one year of hands-on experience as a resin molding engineer or similar is also required.
