Supervise and motivate a team of operators to ensure that the production processes aligned with specified key performance indicators.
Ensure that operators skill is maintained to the required level to carry out their duties.
Prepare and carry out induction training programmes for new operators.
Recommend subordinate for training and conduct On The Job training based on training need analysis.
Ensure the circulation of information, policies and procedures to subordinates.
Prepare working guidance as simplified working instruction for operators to follow.
Maintain safe workplace for working by ensuring all operator use appropriate PPE during work process.
Review the leaves of subordinates and arrange for shift schedules to ensure sufficient manpower in each shift.
Manage employees disciplinary, attendance & performance issues and coach them if necessary.
Production
Interface with engineering and others supporting function groups to resolve production issues.
Responsible for operation maintenance, troubleshooting and inform technical personnel for all repairs and equipment malfunctions.
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work orders or reworks, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Ensure that adequate material stocks are maintained for continuous production
Check on the compilations of quality records for accuracy and reliability.
Ensure all measuring equipment are calibrated according to relevant standards.
To ensure employees practice 5S and total productive maintenance at the workplace
Ensure that all necessary reports are done as per required timing and provides manufacturing information to management by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance data records and reporting.
Any other work/project assigned by superior(s) from time to time.
Your Profiles:
At least Diploma in Business/Operations/Engineering
Minimum 5 years related working experience in production & proven track record in managing a team of operators
Knowledge in Operations, ISO, Lean Manufacturing, Production Planning, SAP
Basic SPC, Poka-Yoke, 5-Whys, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis
