Job Description

Client Background: manufacture semiconductor equipment

Location: Batu Kawan, Penang

Tenure: Permanent

Headcount: 1

Job Responsibilities

Design jigs and fixtures using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Work closely with fabrication, machining, and QA teams to ensure design feasibility
Improve existing jigs/fixtures for better productivity and accuracy
Create detailed technical drawings and BOM for production
Support prototype and new product development projects
Assist in troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably involving jig & fixture design or related tooling / manufacturing support work.
Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
Good understanding of fabrication, CNC machining, and GD&T.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
