About the Role
You will act as the regional Industrial Engineering (IE) lead to ensure production resources are sufficient based on PMC plans. This includes capacity planning, resource coordination, KPI improvement, and driving productivity enhancement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct capacity planning and ensure resource allocation meets annual production targets.
- Analyze production line capacity performance and follow up on abnormalities.
- Coordinate cross-functional resource needs and provide early warnings on shortages.
- Maintain and improve IE-related databases and foundational data.
- Support KPI achievement through monitoring, analysis, and improvement initiatives.
- Lead productivity improvement projects, including new equipment/process introduction.
- Drive onsite improvement activities to enhance efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years IE-related working experience.
- Experience in at least one area:
- Production line layout design/optimization
- Production operations improvement (capacity, cost, efficiency)
- Lean / continuous improvement projects
- Familiar with IE tools, CAD planning tools, and MS Office.
- Flex Sim simulation experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication, multitasking, project management, and reporting skills.
- Basic English reading and writing ability; Chinese-speaking required for China counterpart liaison.
