We are looking for a Production Team Leader Assembly who is responsible to manage, sustain and improve on operational or production relevant processes.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Manage, sustain and improve on operational or production relevant processes.
- Manage flexible production capacity within market driven lead times
- Ensure the timely delivery of all assemble products in specified quality and cost effective process.
- Recruit, lead, coach and oversee all employees in Cleanroom Assembly
- Ensure adequate training and qualification of employee in production and assembly to build professional production team according to skill matrix plan.
- Ensure optimal and efficient staff allocation and time management at production orders and material storage processes.
- Ensure the continuous improvement and 5S at work environment to improve the productivity and maintain safety of work.
- Perform long term machines capacity planning and manpower requirement according to forecast, ensure resources are utilized fully and effectively.
- Improve human efficiency and OLE for assembly line
- Ensure proper maintenance, setup and use of all production equipment according to schedule
- Ensure smooth operation of all relevant production system eg: D365
- Ensure record keeping according to retention period for ISO 9001
- Ensure proper maintenance of procedure and task performed accordingly
- Ensure fulfilment of all relevant production key performance indicators (KPI)
- Ensure adequate resources of the 4M and 1E readiness for smooth production.
- Ensure proper communication to all assembler / operator on any new changes in policies, procedures, etc
- Ensure daily and shiftly meeting is held without failed with related PIC and department to solve daily assembly issues highlighted by the assembler / operator
- Ensure building and all properties in cleanroom is in good condition
- Ensure fulfilment of all relevant production key performance indicators (KPI), namely zero safety incidents, quality-related indicators (FPY, internal / external QPPM) and productivity-relevant indicators (performance rate / OLE, abort rate, attendance and labor utilization rate).
- Work closely with process engineering team and other supporting team for continuos quality and process improvement
- Any other duties as assigned by superior
Key Competencies and Skills
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Material Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Hands on operations experience in mechanical assembly industry
- Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience
- Profound know how in mechanical manufacturing, production planning and organisation
- Long lasting experience in Employee leadership
- Computer skills
- Possess strategic leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skill
