Job Description
The Test Technician is responsible for executing functional and system-level testing of assembled equipment to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. This role supports validation, troubleshooting, and performance verification within a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing activities according to production schedule, specifications, and work instructions.
- Set up and operate test equipment and support system-level validation activities.
- Support engineers in conducting experiments, trials, and process validation activities.
- Identify, report, and assist in resolving test failures and manufacturing issues; support troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety requirements, and manufacturing discipline at all times.
- Maintain proper documentation of test results and activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and comply with cleanroom protocols.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve production and delivery targets.
- Demonstrate strong quality awareness and productivity mindset in all assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Diploma or technical certification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in testing, troubleshooting, or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and test procedures.
- Experience in testing, troubleshooting, or validation in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Gas Box and panel systems within the semiconductor industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing applications is an added advantage.
- Willing to work in a cleanroom environment with shift system.
