Job Description

Job Purpose

Focus on Financial Lines Insurance segment for Lockton Companies:

  • Business Development acquisition of new accounts/clients, strategize new business initiatives
  • Broking Design and develop risk transfer programs for prospects

Ensure all aspects of their responsibility are conducted in a professional and compliant manner in line with Lockton's code of conduct and terms of business agreement.

Key Tasks & Duties and Measurements

  • Identify, acquire and convert opportunities for corporate new business.
  • Understand clients business, risk profile, exposures, needs and expectations.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Provide appropriate recommendations on insurance coverage, insurance programme design, and provide basic broking support on the placement of insurance programs.
  • Build and maintain ongoing relationships with corporate prospects and clients.
  • Build and maintain ongoing relationships with relevant insurers.
  • Assist clients in the event of major claims.
  • To grow and service new portfolio of clients onboarded
  • Oversee growth strategy and sales opportunities, working closely with Heads of divisions and stakeholders.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • To identify and cross-sell the inter-division services where possible
  • Work with ProExec Team members on organic growth through up-selling of solutions on the existing ProExec client portfolio.
  • Implement, monitor client transition and engagement as per Lockton's Model.
  • Ensure all activities that are undertaken are compliant with regulation and Lockton's internal standards and procedures.

Qualification and Experience

  • Insurance relevant specialty/technical diploma
  • Degree-level educated
