Professional Services Solution Consultant

We are looking for a Professional Services Solution Consultant to join our Professional Services team in Kuala Lumpur, reporting to the Director, Professional Services APJ. In this role, you will work across Infoblox organizations and functions to collaborate and execute a pre-sales consulting strategy for Professional Services. You will work closely with Infoblox sales team, PS delivery team, and customers to articulate the value of Professional Services and scope projects that address customers technical and business needs with Infoblox solutions. A primary focus of this role is fostering a services-led sales culture by accelerating product adoption through outcome-based services introduced early in the sales cycle. You are the ideal candidate if you are a top performing Sales Engineer or a Professional Services Consultant, with proven sales experience, and excellent planning, collaboration, communication and sales skills, with an ability to get things done quickly.

Be a Contributor - What You'll Do

  • Work across Infoblox teams including Sales, Professional Services, Product, and Marketing to develop and execute a service-led sales strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations to understand their business challenges and offer tailored or packaged Infoblox Professional Services offerings
  • Outline the value of Infoblox Professional Services to customers early in the sales cycle
  • Work closely with sales teams to provide a cohesive solution to customers, ensuring the scoped services align with customer needs
  • Compose Statements of Work
  • Review and approve sales quotes with Professional Services offerings

Be Prepared - What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in consultative technical roles, including at least 5 years in professional services or presales (sales engineering)
  • Good technical background in networking or security is highly desirable, and familiarity with Infoblox products and their application is a plus
  • Strong understanding of professional services lifecycle, with proven customer-facing experience and the ability to manage stakeholders across multiple organizational levels
  • Ability to build and forge strong relationships and trust with customer stakeholders while understanding their business objectives and providing consultative guidance
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present PS value and offering in a comprehensive and clear way to customers and stakeholders
  • Highly self-reliant, capable of driving customers and internal resources through risks, issues, challenges and minimal need for escalation
  • Proven ability to demonstrate Infoblox values, including transparency, collaboration, absolute integrity, delighting our customer, fun, and respect for others
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail

Be Successful - Your Path

First 90 Days: Foster strong relationships, trust and collaboration with Infoblox APJ sales teams while becoming familiar with Infoblox products and services. Engage with the account teams and attend early pipeline sales calls to perform discovery and scoping activities. Conduct/attend 68 customer-facing and scoping calls weekly. Compose statements of work (SOW) using in-house developed templates, negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to close deals that meet customer needs and drive business growth in collaboration with the rest of the PS Solution team. Approve sales quotes with Professional Services offerings.

Six Months: Develop and implement a recipe for a services-led scoping and conduct/attend 68 customer-facing sales and scoping calls each week. Review and approve sales quotes, prepare statements of work (SOW), negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to close deals that meet customer needs, and drive business growth in collaboration with the rest of the PS Solution team. Position outcome-based services in APJ delivery projects to at least 75% outcome-based and 25% T&M, while continuously innovating and providing improvements for processes and templates.

One Year: Support in increasing Professional Services bookings in the geography YOY and perform the tasks outlined after 6 months.
