Junior Achievement Malaysia (JA Malaysia) is a non-profit organisation that conducts educational programs for school/college/university students throughout Malaysia. Our aim is to provide youth with business acumen and inspire entrepreneurship spirits. The exciting programs will expose them to skills that will enhance their employability and career success in the corporate world. JA Malaysia is a member of JA Worldwide, the worlds top and largest organisation dedicated to educating students about work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
Main Role:
- To engage and develop a sound working relationship with various stakeholders (students, teachers, schools, sponsors, authorities, and JA Team) to promote and deliver fun and exciting JA Programs.
- To execute project/program plans, goals, and financial budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations in line with strategic objectives.
- To assist in effective activities to build JA brand such as PR initiatives and social media presence.
- To ensure the compilation of qualitative and quantitative feedback and reports, and to identify and implement improvements.
- To provide regular update reports to the Executive Director.
- The ideal candidate must demonstrate a real interest in engaging with students and the ability to bring experiential learning to supplement formal curriculum.
- The ability to motivate and energise all stakeholders in the JA Programs is essential.
Supplementary Role:
- Well-versed or IT inclined on software such as and not limited to: Learning Management System (LMS), Woo-Commerce, Website design (Wix), Mobile Apps, Design Tools (Adobe Photoshop, Canva), Video Creation and Open Broadcaster Software (OBS), etc. will be an added advantage.
- To develop program and teaching content to develop the Digital Skills/STEM/Entrepreneurship of Malaysian Youth.
- Provide information management input into the planning and data/information management process; on data gathering and analysis, quality assurance, performance monitoring, information dissemination and management.
Qualifications:
- A university degree (preferred), or diploma with good practical skills (possible).
- Fresh graduates or with 2-3 years experience are welcome to apply.
- Have a car for travel to workshop locations strong advantage.
- Able to communicate and/or understand English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin and/or Tamil will be a strong added advantage.
- Vibrant and engaging personality.
- Ability to work with and support a team.
- Skilled at working within budgets and meeting project deadlines.
- Demonstrates initiative and good at multi-tasking and work independently to achieve project targets/outcomes.
