PMO Manager | Marine & EPCC Project Governance and Performance

We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to lead and strengthen the Project Management Office, driving governance, standardisation, and performance visibility across multiple projects and functions. This role is critical in enhancing reporting quality, enabling data-driven decision-making, and ensuring effective coordination between project teams and stakeholders. You will also play a key role in improving PMO processes, tools, and overall ways of working.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop PMO team to ensure high-quality delivery of project support, reporting, and governance activities.
  • Oversee workload planning and prioritisation across multiple projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain standardised dashboards, reports, trackers, and PMO tools to support business visibility.
  • Ensure consistency of KPIs, data definitions, and reporting standards across all PMO outputs.
  • Partner with project teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, automation, and standardisation of PMO practices.
  • Coordinate PMO support across functions, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with operational needs.
  • Act as escalation point for PMO-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder alignment.
  • Support project governance, portfolio visibility, and performance tracking across multiple initiatives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and maturity of the PMO function, including tools, structure, and capabilities.

What you should have:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in PMO, Project Controls, Project Management, or related disciplines.
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline.
  • Strong exposure to complex, multi-project environments, preferably within engineering, offshore, energy, construction, marine, or EPCC sectors.
  • Proven experience in project reporting, dashboards, performance tracking, and data-driven decision support.
  • Strong understanding of project governance frameworks, controls, and structured delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring teams in a PMO or project environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to engage technical and senior business stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in analytical thinking, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Experience in driving process improvement, standardisation, or digital transformation initiatives.

Salary Range: RM 15K
