Responsible for leading and managing strategic projects and transformation initiatives across the Etiqa Group to support organizational goals. The role drives planning, execution, and monitoring of key programmes while ensuring alignment with project management frameworks and standardised practices within Group Insurance & Takaful. Works closely with business stakeholders to identify value creation opportunities, manage implementation, and ensure intended strategic and operational outcomes are achieved. Additionally, supports governance through coordination of BOCIT meeting administration and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Banking, Insurance, Economics, IT or equivalent professional qualification.
- Professional certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, PSM I) is an added advantage.
- 35 years of experience in programme management, change management and process development.
- 35 years of experience in project management, transformation office or Insurance & Takaful industry.
- Professional qualification and/or technical proficiency in project management aligned with the organisation's project management competencies.
- Exposure to Scrum framework or Agile project implementation is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage strategic projects and programmes across Etiqa Group to achieve organisational objectives.
- Implement and promote standardised Program & Project Management frameworks across Group Insurance & Takaful.
- Drive end-to-end planning, execution and monitoring of strategic transformation initiatives, including business diagnosis, problem solving, value analysis, change implementation, stakeholder management, risk resolution and delivery of strategic outcomes.
- Collaborate with Etiqa Strategy team to prioritise initiatives and optimise resource allocation across regional stakeholders.
- Serve as Secretariat for Board Oversight Committee IT (BOCIT), supporting meeting coordination, materials preparation and Minutes documentation.
