Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Petaling Jaya. As Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing KAS programs and projects in Malaysia. This includes coordinating with partners, preparing budgets, managing events, monitoring project activities, and reporting to stakeholders. The role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, experts, and decision-makers while identifying opportunities to advance KAS's strategic goals in the country.
Educational and Professional Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (preferably Master's Degree) in Political Science, International Relations, Social Science, Law or a related field
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a related position
Strong project management skills, incl. ability to meet deadlines and anticipate next steps
Fluency in English (spoken and written), German language skills would be an asset but not compulsory
Proficiency in MS Office, and social media tools
Experience in using online digital design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.) to design posters and videos for events is an advantage
Candidate must hold Malaysian citizenship.
