Key responsibilities
1) Pre-sales support (RFP / proposal stage)
- Partner with commercial and solutions teams to structure responses to RFPs and proposals from a delivery standpoint.
- Build the initial delivery approach: scope outline, milestones, timeline, resourcing assumptions, dependencies, risks, and delivery governance model.
- Lead internal alignment on what is being committed: clarify assumptions, exclusions, client responsibilities, and acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to proposal materials such as implementation approach, project plan, rollout plan (multi-market if applicable), and high-level delivery estimates.
- Ensure handover quality from pre-sales to delivery: clear statement of work inputs, defined scope, and a baseline plan ready for kickoff.
2) Program delivery ownership (core)
- Own delivery plans for assigned programs: scope, milestones, timelines, resourcing plan, dependencies, and critical path.
- Drive execution cadence: run program ceremonies (kickoff, weekly delivery standups, stakeholder updates), track actions, and unblock teams.
- Maintain delivery artefacts: RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), decision log, status reports, and milestone tracking.
3) Scope & change control
- Establish clear deliverables and acceptance criteria with internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Manage change requests through structured impact assessment (timeline / effort / cost-to-deliver / risk) and documented approvals.
- Prevent scope creep by ensuring all new requests are triaged, clarified, prioritised, and sequenced appropriately.
4) Delivery budget & effort tracking
- Track delivery effort and cost-to-deliver against the agreed delivery budget/baseline (e.g., resourcing days, vendor/3rd-party delivery costs where applicable).
- Identify variance early and drive mitigation plans (re-scoping, re-sequencing, additional resources, timeline adjustment).
- Provide transparent reporting to internal stakeholders on delivery health (schedule, scope, effort/cost-to-deliver, risks).
5) Cross-functional orchestration
- Coordinate workstreams across Product, Engineering, Operations/Support, and client-facing teams to ensure sequencing and readiness.
- Ensure operational readiness is built into delivery (catalogue readiness, SOPs, support readiness, reporting requirements), not treated as post go-live.
6) Go-live planning & BAU transition
- Own go-live planning: UAT approach, cutover plans, go/no-go criteria, launch checklists, and hypercare coordination.
- Ensure robust handover to BAU owners (Operations/Support and Client Success), including documentation, runbooks, and SLA expectations.
7) Continuous improvement & delivery playbooks
- Create and continuously improve reusable templates/playbooks (RFP implementation approach pack, kickoff pack, RAID, status deck, rollout checklist, change request log).
- Run retrospectives and translate learnings into improved delivery processes.
Required qualifications
- 4–7+ years experience in program/project management in tech, fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, platform, or systems integration environments.
- Demonstrated experience supporting pre-sales (RFP/proposal) and owning end-to-end delivery thereafter.
- Strong execution and governance skills: planning, dependency management, RAID management, status reporting, documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Comfortable working with technical teams (APIs/integration concepts, environments, release cycles) and translating between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones/markets.
