Job Description
We are seeking a curious, detail-oriented, and proactive Programme Research Intern to support our conference and workshop production efforts across Zenith Bizness Excellence's portfolio of business events, masterclasses, and training programmes.
This role is ideal for a final year student who enjoys digging into industries, identifying trends, and understanding what makes a conference topic compelling. You will gain hands-on exposure to the full cycle of conference production, from research and topic development to speaker identification and sponsorship support, within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme & Market Research
- Conduct structured online and phone-based research on industry trends, emerging topics, and competitor activity
- Assess the marketability of potential conference and workshop themes and propose topic angles based on findings
- Compile research into clear, structured reports with actionable recommendations
- Track emerging industries and topics relevant to business events and professional training
2. Speaker Research & Outreach
- Identify and profile potential speakers across relevant industries and disciplines
- Conduct initial outreach to prospective speakers via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Assist in coordinating speaker communications and follow-ups
- Maintain and update a speaker database across programme categories
3. Sponsorship & Partnership Support
- Research and identify potential sponsors, partners, and associations relevant to our programmes
- Maintain and update the sponsorship and partnership database
- Assist in preparing outreach materials, proposals, and sponsorship decks
- Support follow-up communications and coordination with potential partners
4. Marketing Support
- Assist in coordinating marketing materials for conferences and masterclasses
- Support email marketing and audience outreach activities
- Help manage engagement across online platforms

Requirements
- Final year student pursuing a degree in Mass Communication, Corporate Communication, Event Management, Business, PR, or related fields
- Strong interest in research, business trends, and the events industry
- Comfortable conducting phone-based research and outreach, as this is a core part of the role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented, organised, and self-driven
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
