Job Description
- Own project accounting function on a dedicated project(s).
- Ensures understanding of the project contractual scopes, commercial terms and conditions, rights, liabilities, and risks (thorough contract review and incorporation of details into project lifecycle responsibilities)
- Ensure completeness, timeliness and accuracy of all matters relating to invoices to clients. Ensure debts are collected to drive positive cash.
- Owns and conduct monthly project progress reviews from financial perspective, performed variance analysis and risk contingency analysis, and raise immediate concerns to leadership team if any.
- Owns and do monthly cost accrual.
- Owns and do monthly revenue recognition evaluation, earned value trending, forecasting and compile other key project indicators.
- Track budget against plan, review costs, analyse non-billables, ensuring profit are maximized.
- Completes project commercial close out on the tasks related to the project accounting function
- Owns and ensure proper accounting and tax treatment are applied for each transaction.
- Owns reconciliation of accounting (ERP) and Project Controls systems to ensure consistency in reporting (Project cost report and financial project report).
- Owns and ensure Inter-company agreements are in place and adhere to group IC policy and transfer pricing compliance.
- Proactively advice on improving the processes related to the project accounting function.
- Manage bonds upstream/downstream

Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2-5 years of Project Accounting Experience
