Manage accounting activities relating to projects and fixed assets, including AUC, capitalisation, transfers, disposals and project costs.
Support project cost transfers, AUC balance management and project impairment activities.
Perform fixed asset verification, asset analysis and reconciliation of relevant General Ledger accounts.
Identify and follow up on issues such as aged AUC balances, negative/non-depreciating assets and reconciliation items.
Work closely with Finance, Business Partners, Supply, Tax, Master Data and other stakeholders to resolve accounting queries and ensure timely processing.
Support internal/external audit queries and SOX compliance activities.
Contribute to process improvement and issue resolution within the accounting/project environment.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Hands-on experience with SAP.
Experience in Project Accounting and/or Fixed Assets.
Audit / SOX exposure would be an advantage.
Good communication skills and fluent English.
Able to manage deadlines and work effectively with multiple stakeholders
