Project Architect Design & Development (D&D) Division

PROJECT ARCHITECT

Role Overview:

The Project Architect is responsible for leading the design, coordination, documentation, and execution of building projects from concept to completion. The role requires strong technical competency, sound understanding of Malaysian regulations and bylaws, and the ability to coordinate with other building professionals/consultants, contractors, authorities (Federal, State & Local), and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·          Design Management

·          Technical Specification & Documentation

·          Authority Liaison, Compliance & Planning Risk Management

·          Project Coordination & Meetings

·          Commercial Negotiations

·          Cost & Commercial Risk Management

·          Site Supervision, Construction Risk Management & Quality Control

·          Provide assistance with all other related tasks and duties related to company business as required.

·          Identify and evaluate potential Property Development projects, factoring in potential investors, technical and financial (including sales risk) feasibility.

REQUIREMENTS

·          Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Architecture, with LAM Part II Qualification.

·          5 - 10 years relevant experience in an Architectural Consultancy

·          Good organisational and multitasking abilities

·          CAD, 3D Modelling and Rendering Software Proficiency.

·          Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word) Proficiency

·          Strong communication skills and stakeholder coordination capability

·          Thorough understanding of Local Authority Submission & Approvals processes with regards to Development Order, Building Plans, CCC etc.

·          Solid working understanding of the following UBBL, Authority Compliance, Building & Construction Standards

·          Ability to produce clear documentation, reports and tracking sheets.

·          Ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects.

·          Fluency in English and Bahasa Melayu

·          Professional LAM Part III Qualifcation - Added Bonus
