Job Summary

The Project Associate is responsible to support the Policy & Sustainability function through research, documentation, coordination, and administrative assistance. The role focuses on providing analytical and operational support to policy initiatives, sustainability programmes, and stakeholder engagements under the guidance of the Manager and Senior Manager.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct background research on national and international policy developments related to science, technology, innovation, and sustainability.
  • Assist in preparing briefs, reports, presentations, and internal papers for management and committees.
  • Support documentation and record-keeping for policy engagements, meetings, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Coordinate logistics and materials for meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions.
  • Assist in tracking action items, timelines, and deliverables for ongoing policy and sustainability initiatives.
  • Support data collection and basic analysis related to ESG, sustainability metrics, or policy monitoring.
  • Prepare draft correspondence, minutes of meetings, and internal communications as required.
  • Provide general administrative and ad-hoc support to the Manager and Senior Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field. (Public Policy, Sustainability, Science & Technology-related disciplines are an advantage)
  • Possesses minimum 1 year of working experience and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Policy Research & Analysis: Ability to conduct structured research and basic analysis on public policies, sustainability frameworks, and ESG-related trends to support evidence-based inputs, briefs, and internal recommendations.
  • Report Writing & Presentation: Proficiency in drafting clear and well-structured reports, policy notes, briefing papers, and presentation materials for internal management and supervised external engagements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to support stakeholder engagements by preparing background materials, meeting notes, follow-ups, and coordination with government agencies, industry players, NGOs, and academia under guidance.
  • Sustainability Knowledge: Foundational understanding of sustainability principles, ESG concepts, and basic familiarity with national and international sustainability standards and reporting frameworks.
  • Project Coordination & Administrative Support: Ability to coordinate tasks, timelines, documentation, and deliverables across multiple policy and sustainability initiatives, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
