Project-Based AI & Coding Teacher

Timedoor Academy is a leading coding and AI education platform dedicated to nurturing future-ready students. We empower children and teens with programming, computational thinking, and artificial intelligence skills through structured, project-based learning.

We are currently looking for a Project-Based AI & Coding Teacher to support our school outreach and activation programs. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or early-career candidates with a solid foundation in JavaScript / Python who are passionate about technology and education. Training, curriculum, and teaching materials will be fully provided.

You will deliver hands-on coding and AI workshops for students aged 517, ranging from block-based programming to beginner/intermediate Python and AI fundamentals. Training and structured teaching materials will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging AI & Coding workshops in schools

Teach block-based coding (Scratch) for younger students

Teach more advance programming language (python, js) for upper primary and secondary students

Introduce foundational AI concepts (e.g., machine learning basics, logic, automation, simple AI applications)

Guide students through project-based learning activities

Support school activation events, demo classes, and trial workshops

Ensure sessions are interactive, structured, and aligned with Timedoor Academy's standards

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related fields

Strong foundation in JavaScript/Python programming (mandatory)

Basic understanding of AI concepts or machine learning fundamentals

Familiar with Scratch or block-based coding

Comfortable teaching children and speaking in front of groups

Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken)

Willing to travel across Malaysia locally

Responsible, confident, and able to manage classroom dynamics

Nice to Have

Experience teaching Python, AI, or STEM subjects

Experience conducting workshops or enrichment programs

Familiarity with beginner AI tools, automation projects, or simple data projects

Experience guiding students in project-based learning
