Job Summary
Manage interior and fitting-out projects by reviewing drawings, coordinating stakeholders, controlling costs, and ensuring timely delivery while resolving site issues and reporting progress to management.
Responsibilities
- Review construction and shop drawings against client briefs and renderings to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Plan project activities for offsite, onsite, and defect rectification phases to ensure smooth execution
- Coordinate project tasks and communications among designers, client representatives, and subcontractors to align objectives
- Control project costs by monitoring expenses and verifying final accounts for accuracy
- Prepare and submit weekly work schedule reports to management to track progress and highlight issues
- Resolve site-related matters with Management Corporation Strata Title (MCST) or other stakeholders to maintain project continuity
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to produce project documentation and reports
- Multilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin to facilitate effective stakeholder engagement
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of Autocad for reviewing and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with 3Ds Max, Sketchup, Coohom, or Kujiale for project visualization and design support
- Minimum Diploma in Interior Design, Estate Management, or Project Management related studies
- Degree or Diploma in Built Environment, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying
- Ten years of experience in renovation or fitting-out trade may substitute for academic qualifications
