The Project Controller is responsible for managing all commercial and financial tasks to ensure project success, including compliance with guidelines, accurate financial record-keeping, supporting the Project Manager in financial results, contract management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication. They also manage commercial topics during financial closings and support audits and reporting activities.
You'll make a difference in areas such as:
- Ensure full compliance with LOA guidelines, Siemens-FRG, and local GAAP requirements for all commercial processes and project financial records.
- Support the Project Manager in achieving financial targets, optimizing project profit, cash flow, and asset management, including risk and opportunity assessment.
- Lead commercial communication, managing customer interactions, resolving issues, and overseeing contract and claim management with relevant experts.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, legal, tax, customs, transfer pricing, and insurance, while supporting partner and subcontractor selection.
- Represent the project commercially, uphold Business Conduct Guidelines, and maintain a culture of integrity and trust across all decision-making activities.
- Oversee all commercial closing activities, including cost controlling, reporting, forecasting, cost accruals/provisions, and ensuring accurate revenue and profit recognition while maintaining transparency and consistency in project financials.
- Manage business administration processes, such as invoice review, cash collection, audit support, and product closure activities to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align with the BU's strategic direction and support clear internal and external communication.
You'll win us over by having:
- A university diploma or equivalent experience, with at least five years of successful financial and project management or business controlling experience, and a solid understanding of IFRS and local GAAP.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
