Job Description

The Artwork Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing artwork changes efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulatory and supply chain requirements. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support the artwork lifecycle across assigned markets or hubs. The coordinator also acts as a point of escalation for resolving issues and contributes to performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives within the artwork and packaging supply chain.

Compensation details: 4000 RM - 4500 RM

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Project Manager for artwork changes within the Artwork Management System, developing project plans aligned with packaging implementation strategies and regulatory timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Regulatory, Manufacturing Sites, Supply Chain) and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packaging artwork.
  • Manage the artwork approval process, ensuring all required stakeholders review and approve within defined timelines.
  • Maintain and update artwork and packaging data systems, providing regular status updates and highlighting risks or delays to key stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings, providing insights on artwork timelines, milestones, and potential issues.
  • Conduct regular team performance and governance meetings, including management of local trackers and reporting tools.
  • Communicate changes in artwork timelines to all relevant stakeholders promptly.
  • Monitor performance metrics and escalate issues to ensure on-time delivery of artwork for new or updated packaging.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and coaching to team members to build capability and ensure process adherence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across artwork and packaging processes to enhance service delivery.
  • Manage market-specific performance and support ad hoc business requirements as needed.

Qualifications & Education

  • Diploma or Degree in a Science or Technical discipline (required).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Logistics, Project Management, Business Studies, Packaging Technology, or Graphic Design (preferred).
  • Technical knowledge of CAD or equivalent drawing/graphics tools is advantageous.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging artwork changes, logistics, or related processes.
  • Experience in production planning or logistics coordination.
  • Exposure to customer relationship management.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems and workflow/document management tools.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of artwork processes, packaging materials, and supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of logistics and new product introduction processes.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a proactive approach.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of regulatory and legal requirements related to artwork production.
  • Proficiency in PC applications and data management tools.
