About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Project Director to lead the successful delivery of large-scale data centre projects. This is a leadership role responsible for driving project execution from planning through completion while ensuring technical excellence, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing complex construction or mission-critical infrastructure projects, possesses strong stakeholder management skills, and is passionate about delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale data centre projects.
- Oversee project planning, execution, commercial performance, and overall project governance.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
- Resolve technical and commercial challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
- Support business development initiatives, client presentations, and industry networking opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices and innovative project delivery solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience, with significant exposure to data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing high-value projects from concept through completion.
- Strong commercial, financial, and contractual management skills.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working as a Lead Consultant or Project Director on data centre developments.
- Familiarity with mission-critical infrastructure, MEP systems, and large-scale construction delivery.
- Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to support business and stakeholder communications, though this is not mandatory.
