Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that all site activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Monitor the progress of construction activities and address any issues that arise.

Technical Oversight:

  • Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure that work is executed according to the approved design and engineering standards.
  • Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure that construction meets required standards and specifications.

Project Coordination:

  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to resolve technical issues and ensure project requirements are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed reports and documentation for project progress and compliance.
  • Manage the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment as needed for the project.

Health and Safety:

  • Implement and enforce site safety policies and procedures.

Budget and Scheduling:

  • Assist in monitoring project costs and manage resources to keep the project within budget.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Address any delays or issues that may impact project timelines and work to mitigate them.

Problem-Solving:

  • Identify and resolve any technical problems or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Provide solutions to design or engineering challenges and adapt plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in related field.
  • Willing to work in Johor Bahru area.
